Microsecond Flash

Microsecond Flash photography is a method of still photography that uses short duration lighting of a subject to capture a high speed event. This image is of a 22 caliber bullet travelling through a cigarette. The camera was on the bulb setting and the flash was triggered by the sound of the gun blast. The intensity of the light and the short duration stopped this bullet in flight.
